We’re so excited to share our quirky, hand built wooden lodges. Step over the threshold of either Dartmoor Lodge or Exmoor Lodge into a glorious new octagonal world! Beautiful rustic charm and a totally private escape with dedicated facilities- bliss.

Our wooden lodges sleep up to five on a mixture of double beds, single beds and futons. All bedding is provided for real ease. That is what we call glamping at its best! Coir matting is also provided in each wooden lodge, creating comfort and keeping your toes warm whatever the weather. A wood burner provides complete warmth and cosiness and a real sense of being tucked away from the rest of the world.

As well as all of the cosy bedding you could wish for, our wooden lodges boasts private decking areas with a picnic bench and BBQ for that ultimate al fresco dining experience – a perfect way to enjoy the great outdoors and those unbeatable views. A complimentary bag of kiln logs is provided on arrival to get you started.

Our eco-friendly approach has awarded us Bronze, Silver and Gold Glamping in the Green Tourism Certificate Programme. Part of our eco approach is that we do not supply the wooden lodges with electricity; instead, they are fitted with solar lighting. You may also see the occasional fairy light in there too, just to add some twinkle to your holiday!
Totally Private
Enjoy some peace
Just a short distance from our lodges is a private field kitchen and shower room for exclusive use. Cook up a storm in the well equipped field kitchen comprising gas cooker, fridge-freezer and all necessary kitchen utensils for your culinary delights, electricity via a coin operated meter taking 20p & £1 coins only. A power shower provides a little luxury in the private shower room. These facilities mean you can tuck yourselves away, relax and enjoy your holiday to yourselves.

Although an image speaks a thousand words, you really do need to experience the panoramic views from your wooden lodge to believe them! Set on the side of our hill, they give you the most perfect picture to wake up to each morning, and with plenty of space for you to enjoy, it’s there for you from morning till night!
