Holiday time is here at last!! Happy Days!!
We are really looking forward to welcoming you at Oak Tree Lane and making sure that you and all guests who holiday here feel comfortable and safe given the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19. We are therefore asking you to read the following information:
Protecting you and all guests here is one of our priorities and so we ask that you contact us immediately should you have any symptoms of the Coronavirus.
Should you have symptoms of the Coronavirus and therefore need to cancel your holiday at Oak Tree Lane, we can offer a full reimbursement or can re-schedule further dates when you may be able to visit (subject to availability).
Checking-In procedures has had to change.
Firstly, as to enable additional cleaning duties, Checking-In times have had to be amended to an arrival time from 16:00hrs. Please be patient with us should your accommodation not be quite ready upon arrival as we are very mindful of needing to be additionally alert to cleanliness satisfaction.
As some of you may be aware, we are a friendly and often tactile pair at Oak Tree Lane and will often shake the hands of, or even provide a warm embrace, to our guests, however due to the social distancing rule, we are, very regrettably, no longer able to offer this. However, please be reassured that we will continue to provide a warm welcome upon arrival and during your stay; thank goodness that being able to smile J and have friendly natter has not been affected!
Only ONE GUEST may be permitted into Reception at any one time please with a face mask; once you have Checked-In, we will take you to your accommodation. Only ONE GUEST from your party with a face mask will be introduced into your accommodation prior to the remaining party then being allowed in.
Should you read any of the tourist leaflets located in Reception, please kindly take with you rather than return to the leaflet shelf.
Due to the additional cleaning duties that will be in situ upon your departure, we ask that all guests promptly Check-Out by 10:00hrs.
We have provided sanitising stations at various points around the farm to which we will advise upon use during your Check-In.
As a precautionary measure, we have had to remove all cushions, soft furnishings and throws from each Yurt and each Wooden Cabin. This may be noticeable to returning guests especially, however we feel this to be paramount in staying COVID-19 secure in 2021.
Furthermore, we ask that you refrain from touching our friendly, fluffy and woolly friends, i.e. Snowy our cat, the hens and sheep. We write this with deepest regret however this is yet another precautionary measure in keeping all guests safe and staying COVID-19 secure in 2021.
Cancellations and Refunds
Should you have to cancel due to covid-19 please contact us straight away, we can offer you two options.
1st, being the proffered option to postpone your holiday and defer your booking to a later date, there will only be an additional costs if you choose a date or accommodation that differs significantly from your original booking.
2nd A full refund along with any deposits paid minus any 3rd party booking fees or commissions paid out.
By opening our business to tourism and therefore becoming potentially at risk to COVID-19, we ask that guests become mindful of others when around.
We also trust that you can understand as to the reasons why we have had to implement the above amendments and know that these are within your best interests.
