"Couldn't ask for a better time as a family"

“Stayed for 2 nights, just the four of us. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by Phil and everything was explained, the great safety features were brilliant. All have individual toilets and showers with hand sanitiser readily available. Minds put straight to rest with everything that’s going on. Phil took all our bags to our yurt which from the moment we stepped inside took our breath away! My little boy who is 5 absolutely loved it!! The beds are super comfy and the wood burner is much welcome, adds a real sense of home and cosiness to the place. We had our own kitchen facilities which were perfect for what we needed and even a bbq was available. A big hit was the communal fire area, logs were already stacked and hunting for kindling was a great activity. Bring your Marshmallows!! Couldn’t ask for a better time as a family, we will definitely be back!”

"To say amazing is an understatement!"

“Me and my 2 girls went for a 4 night camp at Oak Tree Lane. To say amazing is an understatement!!! Firstly, Phil and Sera are fantastic hosts, so welcoming and attentive. They work so hard ensuring everything is clean and ready every day. Every opportunity is spent with conversation, making sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay. wonderful, beautiful people who clearly love everything they do!

The camp spot was idyllic, beautiful country views, sheep in front of us. It had been raining a lot when we arrived, but Phil was on hand to help take up and retrieve our camping stuff (as I had an old Peugeot) if needed. The field Is kept vehicle free to give the children a safe area to play, which is just what they needed. There was a drinking water tap in the middle of the field which was so handy. A wonderful communal campfire too!! Bonus! The showers were luxury, as in good pressure, clean at all times and perfect space wise. With the present climate Covid regulations are strictly adhered too and lots have been put in place to ensure the guidelines can be carried out. Over all, 5 stars, you made our holiday special, thank you 🥰 We will be back next year!!”

"I can't say enough good things about this place!"

“I can’t say enough good things about this place. Located on a working farm in the rolling hills of Devon, Oaktree Lane was the perfect getaway for me and my partner. Oaktree Lane offers beautiful accommodations for everyone from campers and glampers to those looking for a more serious roof over their heads. The site is small, which keeps numbers low and creates a relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed waking up to the sounds of farm life, after enjoying evenings stargazing around the fire.

Phil and Sera were incredible hosts. They were welcoming and exceptionally helpful, helping us to get settled as well as giving us suggestions for hiking trails and local destinations. Their site also features quite a few ecological measures, in order to keep their environmental footprint small. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be returning. It was the perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and enjoy a slice of country life.”

"Can't fault this lovely place"

“What a view. Lovely owners. We had lambs who decided it was fun to run around our cabin later in the evening as they had snook through. Hilarious baby lambs jumping around. Can’t fault this lovely place. Owners couldn’t be any nicer hard working honest people. Hopefully when all this virus has gone we will be back later in the year. Bless you and stay safe.”

"A lot bigger than we expected"

“Phil and sera were amazing! The yurt we stayed in was so comfortable and a lot bigger than we expected. The separate kitchen and bathroom areas were an added bonus. We were also provided with wood for the fire pit and a bbq. It was fantastic to sit around the fire pit with the other visitors in the evening roasting marshmallows and chatting.”

"Spacious, very clean and cosy"

“We stayed in one of the yurts for two days and had a fantastic time. The yurt was spacious, very clean and cosy – especially with the wood fire going. Each yurt has use of its own fully equipped kitchen and bathroom which take some of the hassle out of camping. Phil and Sarah were really welcoming and couldn’t have done any more to make us feel at home. The produce that they sell from their farm is of a high quality and is a real treat for breakfast One night the weather was very windy and they were anxious to make us feel as safe as possible. A great location with lots to do in the area – Lydford Gorge is a must and Finch Foundry is fascinating. Highly recommend.”

"Gorgeous and peaceful surroundings!"

“Lovely spacious cabin with comfortable, good sized beds and good facilities. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly, always happy to help out with any problems. No problems for us at all anyway! Gorgeous and peaceful surroundings and the sheep in the farm near us were very friendly! Hosts were very accommodating with the check in time as we weren’t able to arrive until late Friday night.”
