Camping with a view
Overlooking Dartmoor National Park our exclusive Camping area is the perfect place to totally relax and unwind, each Camping pitch has it’s very own private bathroom comprise of a power shower, hand basin and WC, so no sharing with other Campers or queuing for the bathroom, this means you can leave all your wash bags and towels in your bathroom, everyone’s bathroom is cleaned each day and refreshed with toilet rolls.
OakTree-Lane has the provision of a Camping area which enables Campers with an abundance of space to pitch up their tents. The Camping area is located within the same luscious green field as that of the three Mongolian Yurts which has exceptional views over Dartmoor National Park, we are an exclusive site never having more than two tents at any one time, so you have plenty of room and never feel over crowded.
Within the field, both CAMPERS and GLAMPERS are invited to use the communal camp fire that has been provided for enjoyment, welcoming in the sunny days and balmy evenings. Feel free to bring along your guitars, triangles and tuned singing voices or just sit back and relax with some fine refreshment. Ask the proprietor, Phil, for instructions of use.
Parking and Pitching
Upon arrival, GLAMPERS and CAMPERS are to park their vehicles in the designated car parking area which is located next to the farm house. Following a warm welcome and check in, CAMPERS are permitted to drive their vehicle to the camping area in order to pitch up the tent and unload belongings prior to returning vehicles to the car parking area. This reinforces a safe and practical environment for children and all those whom holiday at Oak Tree-Lane on the Yurt and Camping field.
Oak Tree-Lane does not allow pets, with the exception of guide dogs. Please note that the ground is undulating and naturally sloped in areas.
